Volunteer with us

Work for us

We rely on volunteers to support our work with carer.  Volunteers receive training and professional development support.  They are highly valued members of the team

We are committed to providing the best quality service possible for carers therefore we look for passion and talent when recruiting for the variety of jobs we have to offer

Volunteer for us

Volunteering helps me put something back into my community.  I am proud that I have been able to use my skills and experience to help develop and grow the work of Carers Trust Solihull.

I enjoy making a difference to the lives of others at times and days that are convenient for me.  I am trained to supervise activities and help meet the needs of carers.  I know I make a difference.

I can pick and choose what work I want to get involved with.  I have ownership of tasks that support the work of Carers Trust Solihull and I feel part of a team.

All of our volunteering opportunities can be found on the Do-it website

What do you want to do?

We depend on contributions of time and skills so that we can continue to provide support to carers of all ages. Whatever has inspired you to join us, you could become part of a vibrant, friendly community that makes a real difference.

We have opportunities based in various locations across Solihull for carers, in our offices or community based provision such youth clubs or coffee mornings.

We provide Core Training for all of our volunteers when they start their placement with us, so they are already skilled and confident enough to work with the team and carers from day one.

You may apply to do something completely new, or something you are already experienced at. Contact Naomi Perryman on 01217881143 or naomiperryman@solihullcarers.org to find out more.
